I couldn’t be happier with my journal. It is made with very thick high
quality leather. I ordered a B6 trifold in Oxblood with double closure
metallic gold elastics. I had changed my mind on what I wanted right
after I submitted my order and Alyssia was very accommodating with all
the changes I requested. I asked for a birth flower on the inside flap
that I wanted covered when closed; I have a stalogy 365, 2 more 1 inch
notebooks and I could probably fit another thin notebook and folder
insert and the flower is still completely covered. I’m not 100% sure but
she may have also made the journal slightly taller to accommodate my
embossing request. I have not come across another shop that allows as
much customization included in the price. The packaging, customer
service and final product all 10/10.

I cannot tell you how gorgeous my journal covers are, seriously.
Luxurious is the best word I can use to describe these ones. I was
moved by how pretty my journal covers were; the black one is especially
stunning. I ordered a black B6 trifold with black elastic with geode
accent and an A6 trifold in violet with a crescent moon. Both journal
covers are excellent quality and the patience shown by Alyssia during
customization was quite extraordinary. I love my journal covers, I feel
like they are works of art. You can tell by the excellent customer
service, the care of workmanship and the quality of the leather that
Alyssia cares about what she makes and delivers to her customers. I am
blown away.

I’m deep in the journaling rabbit hole and have journals from two of the
“big names” currently but till date, the journals I got from Forest Nine
are my favourite, most used and in my opinion, of a far more durable
and lasting quality. When you hold these beautiful pieces in your hand,
you can feel and smell this is a heirloom piece and will last you all
your life and witness your story with you. They’re meticulously
hand-crafted and you can see the care and skill in every stitch. The
journal can easily hold many thick notebooks and can easily accommodate
as much chunkiness as you like. The leather is a little bit stiffer and
feels more solid when using. It gets softer and more pliable with time
but it’s great that I can write freely in it and not have to treat it
with kid-gloves. Alyssia is incredibly kind and ethical as seller

this is my second time ordering from ForestNine and i will absolutely
order a billion more times. the quality is perfect. everything is better
than i imagined. i requested a few personalizations and the seller was
so accommodating with what i requested and let me know when they planned
to ship. i am so so so happy with this cover and how it turned out.

I can't say enough about this leather cover! It is stunning! The presentation
when you open it is stunning! What a class act company. I own several
from the 2 "big" brands. I truly wish I had seen Forest Nine first.

I would have ordered my other 6 from them instead. My hope is that this
company becomes just as big and keeps the beautiful touches that makes Forest Nine unique. Because they do it better than any I own or have
seen!

From the exquisite packaging to the personal touch, every little
details...took my breath away. I want more!!! You can't find

So freaking gorgeous. Definitely fits a thick stack, as I have a split
midori a5 and a hobonichi cousin in mine and they fit quite beautifully!
The smell is amazing and the leather is divine. I’m just so floored I
can’t wait to use this for the rest of my life!

I cannot overstate how gorgeous this is! The color of the leather, the
workmanship, the attention to detail. . . And working with Alyssia was
amazing. She went above and beyond. Packaging/presentation was
immaculate. . . Way too many adjectives I can use. Now I just have to
figure out what’s good enough to write in it, lol.

I got the leather journal cover in oxblood as a birthday present and I
couldn’t be more delighted. I’ve been toying with switching to a
traveller’s journal-esque setup but hesitated, not wanting to pay the
price for the popular mass produced social media brands with no
guarantee of quality. I’m glad I went with Forest Nine in the end. The
quality is fantastic and the entire journal feels like it is crafted
with care and skill. The colour is stunning and pictures don’t do it
justice. The packaging even seems thoughtfully chosen, and the addition
of extra elastic was a nice touch too. I couldn’t recommend this cover
enough to others like me who want every journal they write in to feel
special. I also added my own little sentimental charms to the front

I had a great experience with the Alyssa. She made sure I loved my
journal, and I did a very thorough research before purchasing this
specific journal cover. The quality is unmatched, the craftsmanship is
just perfect. I love it, right now I have 3 A5 journals, and I know I
can fit a 4th, I also have a plastic pouch to fit all my stickers,
pictures, etc! I will purchase another soon for my husband, he’d like a
passport size and he compared this journal to my Paper republic pocket
and prefers this one!
